Bachelor of Education (B.Ed)
Minimum Eligibility
- Candidates with at least 50% marks in Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Science, Social Science, Commerce, or Humanities.
- Trained in-service teachers in elementary education.
- Candidates with NCTE-recognized two-year teacher education programs (D.El.Ed, B.El.Ed, BTC, JBT, ETE, etc.).
- All candidates must appear in the entrance test conducted by CDOE, JMI.
Syllabus for Entrance
- General English Comprehension: 10 Marks
- Logical Analytical Reasoning: 20 Marks
- Educational & General Awareness: 25 Marks
- Teaching-Learning at School: 25 Marks
- Any one of the following subjects: 20 Marks (Maths, Science, Social Science, English, Hindi, Urdu)
Basic Guidelines
- Applicants must read the information carefully before submission.
- No applications will be accepted after the deadline.
- Entrance test location: Delhi only.
- Test duration: 2 Hours
- Number of Questions: 100 (MCQs); No Negative Marking.
- Max Marks: 100 (One mark per correct answer).
- Total Seats: 500 (50 at each of the 10 LSCs).
- LSCs allotted based on rank and preference, changes not allowed later.
- Reservation as per JMI policy.
